PE100 Pipe Resin Is a Project-Sensitive Material
HDPE pipe resin must be selected against the actual pipe system, applicable standard, compound form, certification and project approval. A general-purpose HDPE grade is not automatically suitable for pressure pipe, and matching MFI and density alone does not prove PE100 performance.

Natural Resin, Black Compound or Colored Compound?
The buyer must state whether the production line requires a fully pre-compounded black material, a blue or other colored compound, or a natural resin used with an approved masterbatch system. These are not interchangeable purchasing descriptions. Color, carbon-black or pigment dispersion, stabilization and long-term performance documentation must follow the applicable project and producer requirements.
Technical Items to Confirm
Material Classification and Applicable Standard
State whether the requirement is PE80, PE100, PE100-RC or another defined class, and provide the exact standard or customer specification. The project country, utility, consultant or end customer may also maintain an approved-material list.
Pipe Design and Operating Requirement
Provide the pipe application, outside diameter range, SDR or pressure class, operating temperature and expected service conditions. Water, gas, industrial and mining projects may apply different qualification and documentation rules.
Melt Flow and Density
MFR or MFI must include the test temperature and load. Density should be compared on the same material basis. Similar values are only an initial screening point; molecular structure, stabilization, compound quality and long-term performance remain decisive.
Long-Term and Crack-Resistance Requirements
Confirm which producer reports or customer tests are required for long-term hydrostatic performance, slow-crack growth, rapid-crack behavior, oxidation stability and other project-specific properties. Jiuting Polymers will only refer to documents that are available for the exact producer and grade under review.
Compliance and Approval
State whether the application requires drinking-water, gas, food-contact or other destination-market approvals. A test report for one producer or grade cannot be transferred automatically to a different material.

- Black, blue, colored or natural compound requirement
- MFR/MFI and density with test conditions
- Required certificates, approved lists and producer reports
- Monthly or project quantity, destination port and trade term
Our Review Process
- Review the current grade, project standard and required approvals.
- Separate mandatory qualification items from ordinary purchasing preferences.
- Check whether a relevant China-origin producer and exact grade can be documented.
- Coordinate available TDS, COA, MSDS and producer records for buyer review.
- Leave final technical approval, pipe testing and project acceptance to the buyer and relevant authority.
Standard packing is 25 kg bags or agreed packing. Export coordination is normally based on a 20-foot full container from Dalian Port under FOB, CFR or CIF terms. Final loading quantity, documents and availability depend on the selected material and shipment.
